Fausto Mejia is the Program Director at Crown BJJ and a cornerstone of the energy, structure, and culture that make our academy feel like home. Born and raised in New York, Fausto brings a dynamic blend of athletic experience, leadership, and heart to the Crown community.

Before transitioning into Jiu Jitsu, Fausto competed at a high level in collegiate soccer and went on to coach competitive youth programs, including serving as a coach at Westminster. His background in high-performance athletics gives him a strong foundation in discipline, team culture, and athlete development—all of which translate seamlessly into his leadership at Crown.

Fausto is known for his enthusiasm, humor, and ability to make training fun—especially for kids. He connects with students on a personal level, creating an environment where they feel supported, confident, and excited to learn. His passion lies in helping young athletes grow not just in the sport, but as respectful, driven, and well-rounded individuals.
