Matt Martinez is the Co-Owner of Crown BJJ, a purple belt, and a lifelong athlete with a deep passion for growth, leadership, and community. Before stepping into Jiu Jitsu, Matt grew up wrestling and went on to play college football at the University of Utah, where he developed the grit, discipline, and competitive mindset that now fuel his journey on the mats.

Matt is driven by a genuine love for learning and continuous improvement—both for himself and for those around him. His energy, encouragement, and belief in the potential of others help inspire students to push past comfort zones and unlock their best selves.
